Autumn sessions

by Alison, 29/08/2013

You can feel it in the air, summer is drawing to a close. The long summer nights are leaving us for another year and waking up to a dawn session will soon feel like a sleep in.

Even in Ireland, we will be lamenting the loss of bikinis, flip-flops and bbq's. However for those of us who are surfers there are a few consolations. The pulse of the ocean is quickening and the crisp autumn air brings the promise of size, power and consequence.

There is enough light to still grab a post work surf and the sea is still warm enough to pretend for just a while longer that a head to toe coating of neoprene is unnecessary. Roll on the autumn sessions.
